I found this idea from a blog I read and you can check it out here. The girl who writes the blog, Elise, makes a list of things to do for the year on her birthday. The number of things on the list is however old you are.
I’ve been twenty-four for almost 3 months now and have had this list written on some scrap paper for awhile and am finally getting around to sharing it! Here it is, in no particular order.
- Watch the sun rise at Reddish Knob.
- Send Christmas Cards.
- Try out for the roller derby.
- Go on a trip somewhere I've never been.
- Get a new tattoo.
- Decorate the top of my desk.
- Organize my OPA box.
- Eat less fast food.
- Have a Miss America party.
- Open an Etsy account.
- Experiment with video.
- Get a haircut I like a lot.
- Go to the National Zoo.
- Get on a regular work out schedule.
- Go to a Drive-In.
- Find a favorite flower.
- Get better at walking in heels.
- Buy something from the farmers market.
- Create a focus for my website.
- See Katy Perry perform live.
- Sew something from a pattern.
- Find a place to volunteer.
- Put yummy smelling candles in my room (and avoid starting a fire).
- Do something nice for my parents not on a holiday, just because.
I'll keep you updated on my list when I complete them!
Yesterday I took care of #12:
What's an OPA box, Jess?
